Utah is home to 5 of America’s National Parks, but we’re going to take a detour to one of the lesser-known parts of Southern Utah. In between Bryce Canyon and Capital Reef National Parks sits Escalante, Utah. Escalante isn’t as famous as Utah’s ‘Mighty Five,’ but it’s just as spectacular when it comes to things to see and do.
What To Expect On This 4-Day, 3-Night Trip:
Slot Canyons – Wander through winding corridors carved by centuries of rushing water.
Sandstone Arches & Natural Bridges – See the formations that make Southern Utah a geologic wonderland.
Free Time – Hike local trails, explore hidden canyons, or simply relax and take in the desert silence.
But this trip isn’t just about exploration—it’s about connection. Over four days, you’ll join fellow Wayfarians for group campfires and guided discussions on the natural and cultural history of Escalante. We’ll talk about land stewardship, conservation, and how to be responsible travelers in fragile desert ecosystems.
