Our Sunbrero Solar Charging Kit is a simple, renewable, high quality system designed specifically for Wayfarer Vans conversions. It’s perfect for those adventures where you’re not using shore power or the Oupes Mega 2 Power Station (or simply camping out in one place for multiple days).
Mounted on a proprietary rail system, the Sunbrero is available with a single 200w Renogy panel or dual panels that provide 400w of charging power. It is compatible with all our RAM ProMaster and Ford Transit camper van conversions, and is designed to work seamlessly with Oupes Mega 2 Power Station.
While Wayfarer’s proprietary rail system is great for supporting the solar system and other ancillary accessories, it is not load bearing. Avoid things like a heavily loaded rooftop rack or sunbathing deck.

For Ford Transit enthusiasts wanting two vent fans, your roof space will only accommodate one panel. Installing a single front or single rear vent fan leaves plenty of room for two panels.
