Camping season is upon us and we are excited to announce a big change to our annual Wayfarer Weekend campout.
Sure, we build great camper vans… but we’re also experts on where to take ’em! Wayfarer is excited to announce a new Wayfarer Weekend structure that gives you the chance to see some of the amazing places we’ve discovered along our own journeys, and venture further out to places you may never have imagined – all from the comfort of your van and with support from your community of fellow Wayfarians.
This series of smaller, more intimate (and more frequent) Wayfarer Weekends will take you to gems we’ve discovered off the beaten path. You’ll experience expert guidance to pockets of the country, or across the border, you may never have considered going, and expand the horizons on what’s possible in your van.
Each event will have a small group, allowing you to access more unique places and build stronger connections with the Wayfarian community. There’s no better way to discover those forgotten areas in the creases of an old road map….
Space limited to 8 Wayfarians
Nestled below the towering Inyo Mountains, you’ll be treated to a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and community. Spend your days exploring the Bristlecone Pine grove, home to some of the oldest living organisms on earth; hike among the foothills of Mt. Whitney, and tour the curious rock formations of the Alabama Hills.
You’ll also get the opportunity to build friendships with fellow Wayfarians through a bit of volunteer work as we give back to the wild spaces that so graciously welcome us. Enjoy campfire hangouts, recommended activities, and a van open house, all while having plenty of time to relax and unwind.
Whether you’re looking to explore, connect, or recharge, this Wayfarer Weekend has something for everyone—don’t miss your chance to be part of this incredible camping experience in one of California’s most scenic hidden gems.
