With Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park nearby, you’ll find scenic drives, gorgeous hikes and wide open spaces. We love this part of the country because it feels a little more under-the-radar than the big-name parks out west. Bonus: we should be right at the start of leaf-peeping season, so expect some gold in the hills.
