Meet Craig driving Val

We are Craig and Becky Martens. We live in Orange County, CA with our West Highland White Terrier, Teddy. Becky is an avid amateur photographer and the three of us had been traveling around the Southwest for years with cameras in tow in our adorable teardrop trailer. We'd been wanting to upgrade to a camper van for some time (and put the terror of shifting into reverse with a trailer attached "in the rear-view mirror"), but it was when we discovered Wayfarer Vans that we knew the time had come to make the switch. We named our mid-roof Wilma "Val" as she was built out on Valentine's Day. Since 2024, Val has taken us from the Anza Borrego Desert to Yellowstone, from the Salton Sea to Glacier National Park, from Big Sur to Paris, Texas for the total solar eclipse, and to the East Coast three times! Next on our list are summer bluegrass festivals, where Craig will jam around the campfire with his D-18- and Becky will wear her earplugs.
