Meet Peter & Gretchen driving G.O.A.T (Great Outdoors Adventure Transit)
We're Pete and Gretchen, Wayfarer Vanbassadors. Our van lets us adventure along with our black lab, Neo. Our goal is simply getting into nature to relax, hike and hang out. We mostly take long weekends in driving distance of home in Michigan. Our longest trip was venturing to the Wayfarer HQ for the build in March of 2024. We chose Wayfarer after evaluating various options and appreciate the functionality and simplicity. We also own a travel trailer and prefer our Wayfarer van to ”get out and go” easily (note: not needing to winterize the van is quite nice). The versatility of Wayfarer is a big bonus - we’ve removed furniture to use it as a cargo van when moving a kid. Pete often uses the van for mountain biking day trips as it’s easy to drive and provides a comfortable place to change and relax. Once we're both retired, we plan to take much longer treks. We're very happy we chose Wayfarer for our van build and look forward to many adventures with it!
