Story by Morgan Trzcienski |

March 11, 2026 |

Some places feel like summer the moment you roll in. Stowe is one of those places.

Tucked into Vermont’s Green Mountains, Stowe is at its best in early summer. We’ll set up camp together and enjoy the cool mornings and long days while exploring the trails, rivers, and mountain roads.

As always, we’ll have a mix of van tours, scheduled group outings, and plenty of free time to explore on your own. Mornings and evenings bring us back together for shared meals, campfires and stories.

We’ll spend time taking in classic Stowe experiences, from scenic van routes through the Green Mountains to a ride up the Mount Mansfield Gondola for sweeping alpine views. We’ll also visit local favorites like Red Hen Bakery and Morse Farm Sugarworks.

What to expect:

  • Mornings together over breakfast
  • Optional group adventures with plenty of space to explore on your own
  • Evening campfires and time to unwind

Stowe offers no shortage of points of exploration. Walk the Stowe Recreation Path along trout-filled streams, wander quiet boardwalks away from the crowds, explore Spruce Peak Lodge, or take a short hike to something unexpected, like a stone tower hidden in the woods.
